What if we sent a farmer to St. Paul?

Turns out, 30 years of farming teaches you a few things about getting stuff done.

Over the past 30+ years, I have been lucky to be a husband to Jenni, a father to three boys, a school board member, and a longtime resident of southeast Minnesota. But if you ask me what’s prepared me most for the work of public office, it’s thirty years of running Featherstone Farm.

As a farmer and small business owner, I've built things from scratch — greenhouses, storage facilities, a regional food distribution network. And I've fixed plenty too: trucks, coolers, irrigation systems — if it breaks, I've worked on it.

But I've never built or fixed a thing alone.

I had the help of friends, neighbors, and employees — Democrats and Republicans, longtime families and newcomers.

Now I want to return the favor. I can't fix everything in St. Paul — I'm a farmer, not a miracle worker! But I'll work as hard for this district as I've worked for this farm. That's what I'll bring to the Minnesota Senate.
